Ken Sluiter is a recording engineer, producer, and mixer out of Chicago. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003, where he worked alongside legendary producers and engineers, such as Andrew Scheps, Greg Fidelman, Joe Chiccarelli and Jim Scott.

He has an amazing list of credits that includes a staggering list of talent like James Blunt, Weezer, Augustines, Ok Go, Heart, Marc Almond, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others. As Ken put it, he has had his "head between speakers for the better part of 25 years."

He has a lot of lovely gear and the centrepiece of his studio is one of my favorite consoles, the API 1608.
