Amazing Grace is a song that holds great meaning to the Cherokee people and it is often referred to as "the Cherokee National Anthem." Combined with the "Morning Song," the composer writes that he hoped to express the ideals and desires of the Cherokee Nation living in harmony while keeping the Cherokee language alive.
