Note: In 1979, Teenage Radio Stars frontman James Freud launches a solo career which yields a Top 10 hit single with 'Modern Girl'. Public interest begins to wane as Freud changes his backing band's name (The Radio Stars to Berlin), and offers less-commercial singles. In 1982, Freud rejoins fellow Teenage Radio Stars guitarist Sean Kelly in his post-TRS band Models.

Note: Countdown was a long-running popular weekly Australian music television show broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 8 November 1974 until 19 July 1987.[2] It was created by Executive Producer Michael Shrimpton, producer/director Robbie Weekes and record producer and music journalist Ian "Molly" Meldrum. Countdown was produced at the studios of the ABC in the Melbourne suburb of Ripponlea.
