DESCRIPTION: http://www.vladtv.com - Memphis spitter Snootie Wild sat down with VladTV to discuss his rise to stardom, saying he didn't begin taking rap seriously until he got locked up for four years for aggravated robbery. While in prison, Wild claims to have written over 300 songs, but has only recorded one.
Snootie says he really began grinding in the streets with his music, which eventually caught the ear of fellow Tennessee native Yo Gotti, who ultimately signed him to his CMG label. He was humbled that Yo Gotti took a liking to his music, especially because they rep the same city, and Wild is still grateful that Gotti and T.I. hopped on his song "Yayo," taking it from a local hit to a national one.
