BIO:

22 y/o Hip-Hop artist from Newark, NJ. Growing up musically influenced in elementary school from the likes of his theater and music classes, Jae fell in love with music, and the art of creating it. Jae began writing at the age of 13 as a pass time, purely with the intent of rhyming for fun, but shortly after he discovered how to infuse this pass time with his love for creating music. He began to write over beats at the age of 14 after purchasing an instrumental mixtape in Downtown Newark with no formula, no knowledge of counting bars, or hooks (chorus), just endless rhymes till the beats ended. He studied a few of his favorite songs and quickly realized the setup of creating a complete song, and hasn't stopped since. At 15 years of age he began recording in rooms and basements. Due to personal and creative growth, better resources, and persistent dedication, he has put out a mixtape titled "Mr. Himself" in 2007 (listen and download free below) and is currently in the middle of finishing up his second effort "The Krush Groovin" (coming soon). He is also doing shows all over the tri-state area and producing/writing songs for other artists.
