Formed early 2005. Ivory Circus have been playing around west/south London and central London for about 3 years. During their first year together they recorded at EMI publishing studios, off the back of an early demo. ('Hit With Me' and 'The Slow Beat Of An Anthem' were both recorded there july 05). In the summer of 2006 the band recorded 'If You Need', the accompanying video is currently on YouTube. After a short break looking for a new drummer toward the end of 2007 and early 2008 the band returned with a succesful gig at The Clapham Grand on April 24th.

In the summer of 2008 the band returned to the studio to record 2 new songs, 'Turning On My Radio' and 'Something Wrong'

In January 2009 Ivory Circus recieved their radio debut when new track 'Turning On My Radio' was chosen to be played on John Kennedy's show on Xfm as part of their unsigned competition. Listeners voted for the various bands over 3 days and on the 4th day John Kennedy announced that Ivory Circus had won by a "land-slide" and 'Turning On My Radio' was played for a second time.

In March 2009 Ivory Circus's drummer George announced he was to leave the band.

All other members of Ivory Circus are now persuing other projects.
