"Unlabeled" is beyond a song or video, it's a subject that needs to have a voice. I moved to L.A. 2 years ago and decided that the songs I'd sing would only reflect on subjects that were real to me. "Unlabeled" personally, is a battle song against all of the judgement of my body and against the stereotype of what I'm supposed to be as a female artist in the music industry. What I am most proud of, is that this song is for every person who doesn't feel accepted and embraced. This video has REAL people with REAL struggles from all different walks of life, celebrating that we are all the same, but entirely unique. We are all tired of this Instagram ‘perfection’ era we are in, so why aren’t we talking about it? All I hope to do with "Unlabeled" is to open people’s eyes to what is really worth celebrating: ourselves and each other.
