DESCRIPTION:
A three-faceted cable iris was tested today. Continuing work includes adding hard stops for rotation, limit switches to detect endpoints of rotation, adjusting the planes of the cable endpoints, tweaking tension, welding on a motor mounting plate, and figuring out drip irrigation and runoff collection from the cables.
