Ruhaeda - Tape (One Sided) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 17, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
This is the demo tape from this noisy screamo guys.

Bio: Ruhaeda was a hardcore punk band from San Jose, CA.

Once Makara self-destructed, Matt and Nick formed the short-lived, Honeywell worship band, The Syntax Transfer Theory. That band didn't last too long either. Their next collaboration was a breakneck killing machine known as Ruhaeda. Ruhaeda was every bit as volitile as the aforementioned bands. Their sole release was this record, and their US tour was cut short by a break-in into their tour van, which ended an otherwise brutal tour with The Now and Neil Perry. Ruhaeda was every bit as ferocious as Makara, with a more polished and calculated edge as well as nods to melody and tighter musicianship. Guitarist Duwayne also showcased his electronic chops under the monicker (Au)ral D during the many segues on the record. Had they stuck around for a little longer, they'd be a household name. - Level Plane

They released a Self-Titled CD/LP on New York's Level Plane records. The band went on a single North American tour in the summer of 2001.

Ruhaeda consisted of brothers Jerry and DuWayne Anderson, as well as Matt Driscoll and Nick Barnett.

After Ruhaeda ceased to be, Jerry went on to Under a Dying Sun and Inventing Edward. DuWayne played in Takaru and Burial Year. Matt Driscoll went on to start his own mixed media outlet, SAF records/films.
Nick Barnett went on to play in Dosage & Usage and Dmonstrations.
