Album Notes
Structure of Inhumanity is the musical vision of keyboardist Jonah W. (Pyramaze, Written In Blood, Echoterra, Dance of the Mourning Child, Blood Promise, Legion of Carcaroth, Avian). The idea for Jonah to form a new project came about during the fall of 2005. It was then that he felt it was time to establish himself as a creative force and a songwriter, in addition to a studio musician and live performer. The basic groundwork that became the foundation of the Structure of Inhumanity sound, was melodic, epic, occasionally progressive, and over the top Heavy Metal, strongly routed in the Swedish and Finnish sound, with a touch of American style riffing. Influences ranging from Soilwork, Iced Earth, Edge of Sanity, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, and of course Pyramaze can be heard. Jonah didn't have to look far to complete the line-up neccesary. The first step was finding a guitar player who could interpret the riffs and melodies that Jonah had written, while adding his own style and ideas on top of that. Mike Iuzzolino approached Jonah via internet, and it was clear after listening to samples of mike's work that he was the man for the job. Not only could Mike shred, but he also had the higher understanding of melody and the blistering savage creativity that the music required.

Jonah's friend Noah Martin, (Arsis, ex. Blood Promise) one of the rising stars in the world of Metal, was also an obvious and easy choice, as his skills on the bass are soon becoming legendary. The man can shred the bass with the best of them. It was at this point that Jonah contacted legendary guitarist/producer and good friend James Murphy (Disincarnate, ex. Testament, Death, and Obituary) to engineer and produce the album. James accepted on the spot, as he had worked with Jonah in the past, producing the Blood Promise Material. Since a drummer had not yet been found, Jonah asked James if he knew of anyone who could fit the bill. Thus Brian Harris (ex. Firewind) joined the fold. Brian's reputation as a spot on session drummer and performer has found him working on albums all over the states and Europe. It was then time to find the vocalists. Jonah wanted to have two different singers, so as to showcase both sides of the metal spectrum. Eugene Smith a.k.a Serpent, frontman of Jonah's Black Metal side project "Legion of Carcaroth," was an easy choice for the heavy vocals. Gene is an absolute monster behind the microphone, and presents an appropriate representation of the dark and heavy side of the music. Upon Noah's recommendation, Clay Barton was contacted and asked to join the band and lend his amazing clean singing to the music. His reputation as the lead singer of the Progressive Metal band Suspyre has rapidly grown over the last few years. Clay was an excellent and logical choice, as his vocals are aggresive, yet melodic and uplifting, helping create the musical and emotional contrast that Jonah was seeking.

With the album line-up complete and the music written, it was time to start making plans for the recordings to take place. It was at that time that Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers announced that he was leaving the band to pursue a career in producing. Jonah and James agreed that it would be fun to bring Peter in as a co-producer of the project. Peter was down, and the chemistry between the producers and the musicians was undeniable. In addition, both Peter and James (both Caparison endorsed guitarists) made guest solo appearances on the record. Peter has since rejoined Soilwork. In the Summer of 2013, the debut album "Completion Integration" will be unleashed upon the world.
