DESCRIPTION:
Equally proficient as a Ghatam player. A.S. Murali, hailing from
a family of musicians had his initial training under his father Late
A.K. Sundaram Iyer and his uncle Violin Vidwan Late A.K. Ganesh
Iyer. It was under the expert guidance of the veteran vocalist Shri
P.S. Narayanaswamy, Murali shaped up the finer aspects of music
and presentation techniques.
Resonant and Mellifluous voice, strict adherence to classical
values, combined with high level of aesthetics and Improvisation
techniques are the salient features of his performance. He has
been performing all over the country and abroad and also has
won many awards and recognition for his performances. He is also
imparting training to deserving youngsters in Vocal and Ghatam.
