Inhepsie

INHEPSIE, atmospheric metal band with female singing, formed in 2001 in Paris by JEAN SUIRE (guitars) and CATHY BONTANT (vocals & keyboard) in parallel with their metal gothic project AD VITAM AETERNAM.
This first project permitted to play with bands like EPICA, THE OLD DEAD TREE. INHEPSIE's particularity is in the original creation of albums concepts written in french in poetry form. Their first album ORACLE signed in 2003 with SACRAL Production (H.A.R.) in France and beneficiated of a limited edition in velvet packaging. This more experimental album was considered as a new style in the metal and gothic spheres.
Their second album ORBE out in 2008 is distributed by MUSEA Records in France, that enable them to promote their music nearby a more numerous and varied public. For this album, the founder duo called cessions musicians to share their music on the scene and to play with bands like THE CRUXSHADOWS or even WURM.
For their third album OBEDIENCE the line-up is completed by NICOLAS LECEUX on bass and DANY LADRAT on drums. The mix and the mastering was made at the WHITE WASTELAND STUDIO (France) by EMMANUEL ROUSSEAU.
It is distributed by Brennus Music, and was released in 2012.



Inhepsie, groupe métal atmosphérique avec chant féminin, s'est formé en 2001 à Paris par Jean Suire (guitare) et Cathy Bontant (synthé, voix), en parallèle de leur projet de métal gothique « Ad Vitam Aeternam ».
Ce premier projet leur a permis de jouer avec des groupes comme Epica, The Old Dead Tree…
La particularité d'Inhepsie réside en la création originale de concepts albums écrits en français sous forme de poésie.
Leur 1er album, « Oracle », est signé en 2003 chez Sacral Productions (H.A.R.) en France et a bénéficié d'une édition limitée « Book velours ».
Cet album plus expérimental c'est imposé dans le milieu métal et gothique comme un style nouveau.
Le second album, « Orbe », sort en 2008, est distribué par Musea Records, ce qui leur permet de promouvoir leur musique auprès d'un public plus vaste et varié.
Pour cet album, le duo fondateur fait appel à des musiciens de sessions pour partager leur musique sur scène et jouent avec des groupes comme The Crüxshadows, Wurm…
Pour le 3ème album, « Obédience », le line-up se complète par Nicolas Leceux à la basse et Dany Ladrat à la batterie.
Le mixage et le mastering ont été réalisés au White Wasteland Studio (France) par Emmanuel Rousseau.
Il est distribué par Brennus Music, et est sorti en 2012.
