DESCRIPTION:
Caterina Palazzi_SudoKu KilleR new album: INFANTICIDE is coming out on january 26th, 2015 for Auand Records.

Why a so shocking title? Three main reasons:
Infanticide as virtual murder of childish vision of a world where good always triumphs on evil; infanticide is the loss of the childish and naivety for a turbulent and often bitter maturity.
As the tradition of the band the title of this second album anticipates the content of the third, in which the music will be entirely devoted to the “bads” of Disney cartoons. A sort of perpetual "flash forward" started with the first CD “Sudoku Killer” with songs borrowed from the literature, the title of which anticipated the content of this second album, inspired by Japanese math logic games.
Infanticide, finally, takes its cue from album "Incesticide" by Nirvana, band that inspired this new work in its musical and emotional contents.

La scelta di un cosi forte titolo è dettata da tre motivazioni principali:
-INFANTICIDE come omicidio virtuale della visione infantile del mondo in cui è sempre il bene a trionfare e i cattivi a soccombere. Infanticidio inteso quindi come perdita di un' ingenuità ludica e fanciullesca in ragione di una maturità turbolenta e spesso amara.
-Come tradizione della band il titolo del secondo disco anticipa il contenuto del terzo, nel quale la musica sarà dedicata interamente ai personaggi cattivi dei film animati Disney.
Una sorta di perenne "flash forward" iniziato con il primo disco Sudoku Killer che conteneva brani mutuati dalla letteratura ma il cui titolo anticipava il contenuto di questo secondo album, ispirato a giochi di logica matematica giapponesi.
- INFANTICIDE, infine, prende spunto dall album "Incesticide" dei Nirvana, gruppo che ha ispirato questo nuovo lavoro nei suoi contenuti musicali ed emotivi.
