Highly danceable, it's really the song that saves the band's '80s legacy from relative pop yawners like "Joanna" or "Cherish." Oh, there were some other quality songs for the band in the early part of the decade, but this one successfully combines the confident lead singing of J.T. Taylor with prime harmonies and just the slightest tinge of funk, all elements that made Kool & the Gang unique.
