In 2001 Bruno Brittus (guitar), together with his partners Daniel Siderol (bass) and Alex Rocha (drums), decided to implement an unholy musical project of pure Death Metal worship, and with that thought the name IMPETUOUS RAGE born from the impure abysmal sewers to strengthen the Underground and disseminate the corrosion of the basis of christianity.
Following the spirit of genuine and extreme icons as HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST, SARCÓFAGO, POSSESSED, MASSACRE, DEATH, IMMOLATION!
One finally gives up the starting point for the construction of its first compositions.
After a few months in a kind of embryonic state, when they began to build their first rites of Death Metal adoration, a fourth member enters the band to fill the place empty for so long time: Izaias Terrorizer takes over the vocalist’s place and becomes responsible for the offenses, and thus begin the concerts in their hometown Salvador.
At the same time the band records a demo-test entitled "First Manifestation of Heresy", which wasn’t released in the same year of its recording.
Everything was working well until the first half of 2002, when drummer Alex Rocha decided to leave the band, resulting in a break forced on the career of IMPETUOUS RAGE, until a new member was chosen to replace him.
The search for a new drummer ended when Marcelo (ex-Inoculation) joined IMPETUOUS RAGE, with the mission of adapting himself to the band as soon as possible so that the band could re-start their activities, however, after a few live presentations, he left the band motivated by personal reasons.
Invited by their old brothers of the Underground, Alex Rocha returns to the band in 2004, however, when they thought that all problems had been resolved, singer Izaias Terrorizer leaves the band, then Alex Oliveira was chosen to be the new vocalist.
.In December 2005 IMPETUOUS RAGE enters the studio to record the legacy "Decayed In The Pecaminous Profoundness" demo on CD and cassette formats, being the latter one limited to 100 copies. Produced by Thiago Nogueira, the unholy and impure artifact greets the real Death Metal and turns eternal the feeling of inverted redemption practiced by the band.
In 2006, after recording the demo, Daniel Siderol and Bruno Brittus leave the band for personal reasons. Then it was called the fuckin’ deathmetalhead brother Michael Hellriff to take on the guitars and Alex Oliveira becomes the bassist, thus taking up another function in the band, besides the vocalist’s place. Victor Elian, coming from Belo Horizonte city, takes the second guitar.
"Decayed In The Pecaminous Profoundness", work that yielded IMPETUOUS RAGE a fuckin’ recognition in the real scene before zines, labels and metalheads, is still being divulged and so the band makes live appearances in insane nights sharing the stage with fuckin’ bands from the local scene.
In mid 2006 the band signs with Genocide Prods., a real and 100% Underground label from Brazil, for the release of its first album on CD / LP. This material was recorded in December of the same year under the title "Inverted Redemption", and the production was once again signed by Thiago Nogueira. Shortly after the recordings, Alex Oliveira (bass / vocals) stop being part of the deathmetallic cult practiced by IMPETUOUS RAGE.
This impetuous rite of Death Metal worship is released in April 2007, with 8 tracks and a cover for "Massacra" of fuckin’ Hellhammer. This anti-poser material is solely dedicated to the real worshippers of the Metal of Death.
With the departure of Alex Oliveira, Danilo Sadistic (voice) and Eduardo Alencar (bass) are invited to join the band. Danilo, for personal reasons, not to continue working together with IMPETUOUS RAGE, then giving the place to Michael Hellriff, who besides the guitar assumes the vocalist’s place and becomes responsible for spreading the impetuous blasphemy.
After a long period of testing and restructuring of its songs, the band debuts live with the new line-up in July 2007 at the album release party in its hometown. Some live performances were made until Victor Elian is summoned to leave the band in December 2007.
2008, first test-demo "First Manifestation of Heresy" it was unleashed on tape version in a limited edition of 100 copies so that some few chosen ones see that since the beginning the band remained faithful to their ideal, and also to cover the gap of 5 years without releasing any material.
Now IMPETUOUS RAGE continues live into underground scene and Dead as a band. Arise to the DEATH METAL "POISONOUS"!!!!
