Following a workshop on signal flow and live performance we each played a song. This one was written by Dan and Jorgen Clausen at the Aortas Workshop in Winslow in October 2012, and filmed by Nebo - https://www.facebook.com/nebo.music

LYRICS:
There's a track in the valley - winds through the woods
Behind the oaks and the larches is a place where the land is good
And I've been on this land long as I can recall
Seasons turn around - don't count years at all

Apples in the Autumn; salads in the Spring
Soft fruit in the Summer; Winter comes whispering.
CHORUS
Apples and Pears, great and small.
I tend the trees and I pick up those that fall; that fall.
VERSE
And we talk to our neighbours; plant what each other needs
Like the bee tends the flowers, like the sun swells the seeds
Sky is forming grey clouds -- it's been two months if it's been a week.
When they fall it feels good -- mother's touch upon my cheek
PRE Apples in the Autumn.....
CHORUS Apples and pears.....
VERSE Today there were men in the forest -- felling a clearing in the trees
Chopped down the oaks and the larches -- to make a road that would hold their machines
DOUBLE PRE-CHORUS Apples in the Autumn.....
Apples in the orchard, fishes in the streams
Soft fruits in the Summer, these things fill my dreams
Apples and Pears....
