DESCRIPTION:
This is a video that I made for a contest at work. Basically the rules were to shoot a video showing what we do to resolve a customers problem the first time out. I decided to write a song showing you the steps that we technicians take on a daily basis to ensure the problem gets fixed on the first shot. Some of the terms I used in the song would only be understood by Comcast employees, so I decided to translate some of it for you;
Tech Net- This is the program that we use to see our routes for the day. Our dispatchers send us the jobs and messages through it.
DVR & DCT- Different types of cable boxes.
Code A- This is what we call jobs were no one is home.
The Drop- The cable that goes from the tap, pedestal or vault to the customers home.
"19 or Code 19"- This is the code for time to GO HOME.
The music on the song is Musiq Soulchilds - Don't Change, but the lyrics and vocals and video was all me.
Hopefully you enjoy it.
Jeff Palega (Tech 2110)
PS: I cut the ending off of this video for Business purposes. Still has the entire music video though. I hope you enjoy.
