Goldfish are celebrating 6 years of Submerged Sundays in Camps Bay.
South Africa's top electronic act have a long history on this little stretch of
beach.
Having gone from impromtu jams at a tiny beach bar a stones throw from St
Yves, to headlining Amsterdam's Olympic Stadium, cracking a top 10 on the
US iTunes Dance chart, a residency at Pacha Ibiza with David Guetta and DJ's
like Fedde le Grand knocking at their door to do remix their tracks, it's almost
hard to believe that it started here. Not so long ago they were just two music
students who lived a relatively chilled life of surfing and playing music in their
home town Cape Town, but Dom and Dave haven't forgotten their roots, and
every year sees them return from touring to play a Summer residency where
it all started.
Goldfish's Submerged Sundays have truly become part of the fabric of Cape
Town.
Now in its 6th year, Goldfish have taken the Submerged Sunday's Concept and
grown it into Cape Town's hottest night of the Summer every week -- hands
down.
Featuring 12 exclusive sets from Goldfish every Sunday, the cream of South
Africa's DJs, mind-numbing sound and lighting as well as top secret
production effects to rock the dance floor, The Fishies have upped their game
