Many people believe diva Mariah Carey lip synced her performance on American Idol and did she diss former judge JLo?! We'll discuss. You're tuned in to ClevverMusic, thanks for finding us. Thursday's American Idol finale saw tons of stars come out to perform on the show including current judge Mariah Carey. She performed a medley including "Vision of Love", "Hero", "My All" and more. Many people believe she was lip syncing and we have to agree it did appear that way take a look.

Was it the tight dress? It seem Mariah was hardly moving anything except her mouth which made it seem a little like she was acting. Entertainment Tonight claims Mariah's rep told them she absolutely sang the entire medley... completely live! Well at least part of that is not true. The performance was pre-taped the night before after the Top 2 performances show Wednesday night. So it may have been live for the 7,000 people in the Nokia theatre Wednesday night, but it was not live on the finale show. Other drama involving Mimi at the finale includes last year's judge Jennifer Lopez. Some say Mariah dissed Jlo by being the only judge to not give her a standing ovation after she performed her new song with Pitbull "Live It Up". But Idol viewers know Mariah often does not stand because her dresses are too tight. However, a plausible reason she did not stand is that rumors of J.Lo replacing Mariah this season at the judges table likely did not please Mariah. Now Jennifer may have also been lip syncing but it did not appear that way to the eye. So that's where ya went wrong Mariah—at least fake it good! Tell us if you think Mariah lip synced? Yes or no?
