Norman Smith, also known as Hurricane Smith (February 22, 1923- March 3 2008) was born in Edmonton, North London, England.
He was a musician and music producer. He also served as a glider pilot during World War II.
In 1959, Smith started to work at EMI with sound engineering. He organized the Beatles recordings until 1965 when he became producer.
In 1967, Smith started to work with the group Pink Floyd.
In 1971, Smith using the pseudonym Hurricane Smith, was very successful with the song "DON`T LET IT DIE."
Hurricane Smith, had a career of many releases and success.
