DESCRIPTION:
Born 14 June-1962, Hugh Mundell was a Jamaican reggae singer, composer and songwriter. Between 1976 and 1978, Mundell (aka Jah Levi) and jamaican top musician/producer Augustus Pablo laid the tracks for what would ultimately become Mundell's 1978 debut LP "Africa Must Be Free By 1983".
...in an almost creepy irony (given the title of his hit song and album), Hugh Mundell was shot and killed in 14 October-1983, at the age of 21!
