The Dreaming comes with a nice short manifesto that goes like this:

"Many cultures have considered the shadow world; the Aboriginal's dreamtime, the imaginal realm, even more "real" the this dimension, everything must happen there first.

As Robert Anton Wilson, notes at the end of Prometheus Rising. " The Future exists first in imagination, then in will, and then reality".

When we "grow up" we give this power to governments, to the media, to e! entertainment television, to Rupert Murdock and Oprah, to President George "mother slaughtering war criminal" W. Bush, to christianity, or islam, judiaism, hinduism, what ever current scientific theories are generally accepted (at this stage of history). Take back the mind. Let's take back realiy. It's magic, it always has been, it always will be.

How i got hold of the record:

I bought the record the 4th of June 2008 from five guys from Finland, The Doozers, while they where throwing an exhibition in Copenhagen at an artist run space named DUNK! (-there is some photos from the show at: http://www.dunkdunk.dk/x23.htm - if you should like to see for you self what i'm talking about).

The five guys were all working within the field of underground comics, art music and performance - both individually and as a part of the artist collective The Doozers. And they there all a part of KutiKuti - a comic art studio & association located in Kallio, Helsinki, Finland (http://www.kutikuti.com).
They are also connected to the Finish comic label Boing Being (http://www.boingbeing.com).

And at the opening of the show in Copenhagen they there selling some of their really comic books along side a fine selection of releases from Lal Lal Lal Records who's also based in Finland and to which some of The Doozers are connected.

It's two years ago, but it was first today i really sat down and listen to The Dreaming by Howlin' Magic and got totally dragged into his marvelous blend of lo-fi psychedelic howlin' & noisy metal blues - It's just true magic for my body, ears and mind.
