Hello fine young people! Welcome to a new episode of Weekend Wankshop, here with your Uncle Ben Eller.

Kids! I hope to Odin you all are aware that Brent Mason is out there somewhere right now, being better than your favorite guitarist. Dude is just unbearably sick. Thats the reason he's gotten every top Nashville gig for the past couple decades and made more money than any of us stooges can ever dream of.
On this week's lesson, we're going to learn the totally terrifying intro lick to Brent's title track from his record "Hot Wired", and my god is it ever sick. Its a chicken pickin' tour-de-force. My man Andy Wood got me into Brent's playing, and this lick is a great example of why all us Shredi Knights look up to Brent so much.
Brent plays with thumb and fingerpicks, but i'm going to be showing you how to hybrid pick through this beast. It won't be easy, but it is doable!
Totally playing the wrong gear for this, but i'm cute, so i can get away with it. Ibanez RG3120 with Dimarzios, and my Kemper Profiler, which is hilariously running a profile of an Axe FX patch.
