HOT SQUAD

St. Louis is still producing spectacular young artists!!! Michael Haynes (aka) Lil Mike, Clayton Shaw (aka) C-Starr, and Joshua Ryan (aka) JR. Clayton, 18 is a freshman at Forest Park Jr. College, JR, 18 is senior at Parkway North High School. All three are destined to become bigger than their predecessors. Lil Mike and C-Starr met while attending Construction Career Center High School doing a battle rap. They liked each others flow and style and became good friends. JR was introduced to Lil Mike through C-Starr and they decided to form a rap group known as the "Hot Squad".



Neither of the boys have ever known their natural fathers. This will not be an issue in acheiving success. The "Hot Squad" does some commercial endeavors, but they can keep it "Street" states Lil Mike. Let it be known the "Hot Squad" is not going to come weak on any beat and they are going to bring a verbal and musical arsenal rocking out one way or another. In 2005 the "Hot Squad" started a saga at different studios in St. Louis, a city that has bred such platinum heavy hitters as- Chingy, Nelly and the St. Lunatics, and Jibbs. Once the "Hot Squad" got together C-Starr started making the beats and all three collectively started writing lyrics such as "Go Girl", "Whatcha Rollin' On", and "Issue".



The "Hot Squad" is always busy honing their style and rhyme flow, which is starting to influence an entire wave of young emcees. The debut album will be unstoppable. It promises to captivate listeners and further establish the "Hot Squad" as a powerful entity that stands apart from the rest of the rappers. "Hot Squad" keeps it real". They further state they keep negative away and stay hyped with energy and determination.

Hot Squad's "Where Hustlin' Goes Wrong" Vol. 1, takes you from working in the studio on the album, to the streets where the "Hot Squad" is out selling the album when something goes wrong.
