Salon Hifi 2011, Paris full report by JVH for HIFICLUBE - www.hificlube.net.
All videos featured in Part 2: The Good, the Bad and the Evil can be watched at 1080 in full screen. Lighting was generally poor, so image quality may suffer accordingly. Sound was recorded live. No processing or editing whatsoever. We did not use any commercial recording for soundtrack. The show was open to the public and all music tracks were selected and played for demonstration purposes by the manufacturers and distributors themselves. You'll hear some extraneous noises (people talking, for instance) which only make it more lifelike. That's what you'd hear yourself had you been there with me. This way you can make a fairly accurate opinion of how each system sounded in each particular room with the music that was playing at the time of registering. For better sound use headphones or link you PC to your Hifi system.
