HORSECOP

Formed in York PA sometime in during the year 2001 by ex-members of local powerhouse Porter and Goatkiller. No professionally recorded releases, however various home recorded CDRs of varying quality are floating around somewhereOh yeah, and an appearance on a MENTORS TRIBUTE CD.



Horsecop has played shows over the past few years with bands such as Trephine, Stinking Lizaveta, Captured by Robots, Sadaharu, Dog Fashion Disco, Dragstrip Syndicate, Rock City Crimewave, The Hellcats, Headwounds, The Malevoiy, Superswank, Wretched, and Throttlerod.



Originally a three piece without a bass player, ex-Porter trombonist Matt was added to the lineup after a handful of shows. A few years later Horsecop finally found a more than suitable bass player in Reese of local punk rockabilly hellraisers The Hellcats.



Matt's contributions on the horn added an undeniably unique sound to the band, but a busy personal schedule made it difficult to continue performing. There is only one man to properly put trombone to the stoner-thrash assault, so he will not be replaced.



Nowadays Horsecop rock as a solid 4 piece, as well as utilizing world renown visual specialist, Justin Ayala, for their live performances. Before the end of the year, HORSECOP should finally have a studio cd available. As the saying goes, better late than never.
