High Noon Sound Station

High Noon Sound Station wurde Ende 2003 von Junior Dread im schönen Städtchen Bayreuth gegründet und ist von Anfang an auf Ska, Roots Reggae und Oldschool Dancehall (80s/90s) spezialisiert. Besonderen Wert legte ich dabei immer auf die Verwendung von Vinyl also 45s, wodurch sich auch schnell der Beiname des 45 Cowboys etablierte und bis heute Garant für authentische Vibes steht! Im Jahr 2005 wurde dann der ganze Sound nach Düsseldorf verlagert, wo sich die beiden Selectors Bud Benda und Tomsn anschlossen. Gemeinsam beschallten wir erfolgreich die Partyreihe "Reggae2Rumble" bis Ende 2008, bevor sich unsere Wege wieder trennten. Nach einer kurzen, aber guten Zusammenarbeit mit den Selectors Rob A Dub und Radiovoice Seb (Lion Roar Sound) besteht High Noon Sound Station Ende 2009, wie schon zu Beginn nun wieder einzig aus Junior D (die Dreads sind mittlerweile auch ab). High Noon Sound Station is a openminded soundsystem in the Jamaican tradition of entertainment. Each of our selectors is a well known specialist in Reggae music and their different styles. We always play the best mix from Soul, Rocksteady, Ska, Rub A Dub, Lovers Rock, Modern Roots and Dub up to di latest Dancehall Anthems. Like every serious sound we also play Specials/Dubplates but instead waisting money for Dubs u can hear on every corner we try to push up and promote hot, young, upcoming and underrated artists from all corners of the world. We run every place hot cause we have the Rub A Dub Specialists Dancehall Scientists never missed Foundation Chemists Bud Bender Sir Tomsn and Junior Dread behind their Wheels! We play and promote Reggae from all all over the world cause it's a world wide ting!
