This BandHouse Gigs Tribute to The Band's Last Waltz will be a very special night of music at The Hamilton, paying tribute to the Band's historic 1976 farewell concert. That show featured a full set of music by The Band as well as guest appearances from other legendary artists who influenced and performed with The Band during their career. As with the original concert, this show will also include songs by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Ronnie Hawkins, and Muddy Waters.

The Last Waltz, directed by Martin Scorsese, is considered one of the finest concert films ever made. It has helped pass down the The Band's music to generations of listeners and performers. The Last Waltz was held on Thanksgiving Day, and in this spirit The Hamilton Live will offer a turkey dinner, just as the original concert's Winterland Ballroom audience received, only this time prepared in Clyde's classic manner, and with a vegetarian alternative entre.

This is our first time in The Hamilton Live, located at 600 14th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20005, at the corner of F St., near Metro Center. This new downtown music club's 300 table seat tickets have all been purchased, and we thank you all for your continued support of BandHouse Gigs and of our gifted group of performers!

So now's your chance to pick up one of the 150 general admission tickets still available to enjoy the show from a good vantage point in one of the club's two bar areas. The state-of-the-art sound, lights, and video are complimented by a beautiful stage in this classy listening room -- perfect for The Last Waltz. If you haven't checked The Hamilton Live out yet, this show is a great opportunity.
