L.O.FREQ

L.O.Freq are a London based recording collective inspired by the likes of Portishead, Radiohead and Tricky. Their debut album is released in late Aug/early Sept 2007.



They perform acoustic gigs, electronic sets and DJ around London regularly. Their debut release was as the only unsigned band on 2006's much anticipated BBE 'Exit Music' album of Radiohead covers alongside Matthew Herbert, Cinematic Orchestra and RJD2. Their cover of Blowout is also due for release on the Lost & Found compilation in May 2007 alongside Lou Rhodes, Nerina Pallot and Ed Harcourt.



The core members are producer and songwriter Jamie Perera and singer and songwriter Reeta Loi.



They have recently been selected by Converse Music as one of the top 3 unsigned bands of 2006 and supported Hot Club De Paris on the Converse Music tour.



They love writing, writing songs, playing, playing guitar, speaking in silly accents, recording weird noises, playing gigs, banging drums and just generally anything musically inclined.



Limited edition double A side 7'' singles of Midnight and Run a Mile plus CD EPs are available on request and at gigs.
