"Hymn to Hecate"

"I am the maiden, the midwife, and crone,
The triple goddess in one.
I am there when you truly believe you're alone,
And the light when there's no moon or sun.

I carry the torch that shows the way
Through the darkness of new moon nights.
From my absence dawns the break of day,
And the radiant sun's first lights.

I hold the key that unlocks the door
To ancient wisdom untold.
Wisdom of old forgotten lore,
And the deepest secrets of soul.

I am she who stands where three roads meet,
With torch and sword and key.
I am she who Zeus gave dominion over,
The earth the heavens and sea.

I am seen in the eye of the Great Horned Owl,
And heard in the cry of the hound.
I am she whose essence is in all things,
From the heavens and skies to the ground.

I am the vessel from which the gifts
Of knowledge and wisdom descend.
I am the light you see,
through the tunnel of the womb,
And the light you find at the end."

The chorus is: "Hecate show us the way, keep all dangers and darkness at bay."
