From their 1974 album "1990". Heavenly was caught in the center of a disc jockey boycott against Motown after executives at the label did not thank the United States' DJs while accepting an award at the 1974 AMA's. As a result, the DJs refused to play "Heavenly", and all things Motown, causing it to stall in the pop-charts rankings. Members: Richard Street, Damon Harris, Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin, and Otis Williams. Produced and composed by Norman Whitfield. Instrumentation by : The Funk Brothers, and Rose Royce.
