The underrated band, Heartsfield, formed in 1970, in the south suburbs of Chicago.

They're known as one of the most recognizable southern-rock bands of the 1970's, featuring awesome harmonies and wonderfully written songs. But they couldn't quite find commercial success like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Marshall Tucker or Charlie Daniels Bands or the Doobie Brothers.

Never-the-less, they've performed to over 10 million fans and 4,500 shows despite being on an 18-year hiatus. Their have several albums to their credit, with their last being released in 2010. They re still going strong and still perform today.

"Music Eyes" is from their first self-titled album, and the edited single version made it to #95 in 1974.
