Live from the Hatchery is proud to present Arann Harris and the Farm Band, performing their original song "Death" live in Studio B at Prairie Sun Recording. Arann Harris is one of the hidden gems of the Sonoma County music scene. Arann's rootsy mish-mash of old-timey folk and jazz is complemented by the occasional urban or funk twist and unified by Arann's characterful performances and haunting vocal sound. The whole thing is made a little more dangerous by Arann's propensity to never play a song the same way twice - all eyes, including the band's, are on him to see what happens next. We imagine yours will be, as well! I've had the pleasure of making a couple records with Arann, and the process is much like what you see here - a talented group of musicians dive into the song and make a whole bunch of noise together - and almost invariably, something special happens. I'm excited that we were able capture this process on video for you to enjoy!
