Harris Grade - "LIPSTICK POLITICS" Directed by Levi Holiman - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 15, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
Fall 2010. Robyn aka "El Gusto", lead singer of Harris Grade is ready to make his next music video. The band agrees. So Robyn calls his good friend Steven Spielberg. Not available. Michael Bay wanted too many helicopters, explosions and American flags with Bruce Willis type looking people walking in slow motion. Spike Lee wanted to do the video but wasn't into a quote "all non African cast." Spike Jonze wanted all of the guys to dress like cardboard box robots and play kitchen utensils instead of their drums and guitars so that was a wash. Roman Polanski had a really great preteen angst concept but he won't shoot in L.A. so he's out. By the law / rule of Attrition (films), Levi got the call. He immediately stopped his online pet manicurist classes and started working on an idea. 8 weeks later, all done. Merry Christmas! -The Team at AttritionFilms
