Mama Feelgood and The Hang Ups at Annabel's - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Mama Feelgood & The Hang Ups performing at Annabel's club in Plymouth on the 16th November 2013.
I used the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 II lens and a small stereo microphone. I recorded in Cinema DNG Raw. This also indicates the perils of handheld camera work on a crowded dance floor.

I don't have a computer capable of running Davinci Resolve, nor do I have Premier or any other high class expensive video editing software. I used Corel's Paint Shop Pro X5 & 6 to edit the Raw DNG files into useable Jpegs, then used Serif MoviePlus X6 to edit the video. I had great difficulty with MoviePlus X6 because I couldn't accurately make each Jpeg into 1/25 seconds, the saved video in MP4 was approximately 4x too slow. I had to re-edit and use the audio file to accurately get the speed/length of the video to match the audio. I made a slight mistake at the beginning of the video, so had to cut the first 4 frames to match the audio, it's still not quite in sync, but is OK.

It was a lot of work to make this short video and will probably only use RAW for special occasions in the future and ProRes for all other occasions.

I am pleased with the result, and to me the finished video looks better than others I've done using ProRes.
