Hambone Bros - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 29, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
**AS SEEN ON THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW**
The Lierman brothers showcase the family's cherished tradition of bodily percussion, in a style known as Hambone.

Commonly referred to as "knee slapping", "that one slappy thing", or just "that thing" by many folks, the art of modern hamboning is a derivative of its ancient ancestor, the African Juba dance and has undergone many modifications and adaptations as it has been passed down through the generations.

In our case, our dad is a super goofy guy who taught us how to slap ourselves at an early age in lieu of teaching us to walk, a task he left to our poor mother. His disrespect, irreverence, and ignorance of the Hambone's ancient and majestic roots frankly offend us. Oh well, he's still pretty cool. Thanks for teaching us, Dad.
