Haji Springer made a name for himself in the Bay Area when he released his first album ,,Hello Buddy,, through one of the biggest indie labels in California, Thizz Entertainment. Thizz boasts a roster that includes, Mistah FAB, Mac Dre, Little Bruce and Shigady & Boss Hogg to name a few.
Haji recently came out with his sophomore release, “Hurry Up and Buy”, which hit the streets on August 18th as a joint effort through Thizz Entertainment and SMC Recordings – the two Bay Area juggernaut labels. The album features a free DVD that includes footage from his most recent trip to India.
Haji has traveled to India numerous times and has had the amazing opportunity to record with some of Bollywood’s most well known artists, such as Ishq Bector, Taz from Stereo Nation, and Daler Mehndi just to name a few. Haji’s collaborations are not exclusive to the Bollywood set, he has also worked with some of the nations brightest stars including Baby Bash, Paul Wall, Mikael (sings chorus on the hit song ‘Cyclone’), Mistah FAB, Keak Da Sneak and Yukmouth. Haji’s exposure has been growing steadily and he’s been featured in numerous print and on line media outlets including Ozone Magazine, Xplosive Magazine, and the cover of Murder Dog. He has also made appearances in the motion picture “Ghost Ride The Whip” and on MTV’s successful special, “My Block” as well as “MYX” and he also appeared on the Bay Area all star video for Yahoo/Pepsi Smash!
