Naria has just released a new single entitled "Addio" which was written and produced by Katya Tchoubar and co-produced and arranged by Dima Graziani.

"Addio" is a powerful song which includes Italian lyrics from the much loved Verdi opera,"La Traviata." It's meaning is twofold. Here, a woman sings farewell to her happiness, but Naria puts a twist to a song that begins with an inner struggle and uncertainty, yet ends with the finality of what was and a hope for what's to come. Nonetheless, "Addio" further raises a multitude of questions...Do you really mean goodbye when you say it? Are you ever free of the one you love? The song is about the awakening of those questions and the feelings that come with the answers.

Is this the end or is this just the beginning?
Do I still have a reason to dream, to sing, to breath?

Created in the Fall of 2010, with professional opera singer Katya Tchoubar at the helm, it didn't take long for 1 to become 4 with the addition of fellow opera talents Anna Bateman and Michelle Danese with the group rounded out by pop sensation Annaliese Jelilian -- thus NARIA was born.

NARIA is and contains 4 brilliant voices whose vocal prowess and original choreographed compositions features opera, pop, techno and world music with classical high notes while exhibiting their intimate personal style. While "aria" refers to the show-stopping moment in an opera, the "n" stands for "the north" — NARIA is proudly Canadian.

Determined to perform original pieces in a techno-operatic format, NARIA sought the professional expertise of two diversified musical arrangers: Haim Mazar from Los Angeles and Toronto's Dima Graziani. With the release of five songs including, "I Found a Little Christmas", "Addido", "Betrayed", "Ambitious" and "The Moon", NARIA is set to release their most poignant piece to date accompanied with their first video, "The Witch". Their upcoming CD will feature 8 tracks.

NARIA's music has been featured on Britain's International British Showcase, CHIN Radio, and internet radio stations including Woman of Substance, Indie Castle and ruKus radio with live performances currently occurring in Canadian cities. Undoubtedly in the not too distant future, NARIA will be taking centre stage in Europe and Asia, building international fan bases and winning over international audiences.
