Just so you know, there is no footage of the actual concrete raising process. I was busy with other, more important things at the time. You'll have to rely on my description. Also, most of this video is just random snippets of the work.

Much as I love old houses, they do some with their own unique set of joys. Here's one now--about a year ago, we noticed the walls of the front porch starting to pull away. Something had to be done. The foundation is (hopefully) fixed, but we had hoped that this would also serve to reverse the walls having pulled out. That's going to have be addressed separately.

Coming up at some as yet unknown point (because none of this is cheap, believe me!): new gutters and (hopefully) a major remodeling of the downstairs bathroom.

I don't really know for sure what the one worker was talking about in the video, other than to say I think it involved a replacement cellular phone.
