DESCRIPTION:
Gemini Conspiracy was a short lived band from San Diego, Ca. As far as I know, the band never released any recordings, and only played a handful of shows. Which is very unfortunate, because the music was a really interesting blend of sounds .This show was recorded in 1998 at the Munoz Boxing Gym, in Bakersfield, Ca. and I can remember that it was ridiculously cold that evening, which may explain the lack of enthusiasm in the crowd.
After the show, me and a few friends went to Denny's with the band and hung out for a bit. I remember sitting there withe those guys and just being so excited about music. Very memorable show for me. Those guys were really rad to all of us despite the fact that it was cold, no one showed up and we gave them very little money. All of the negative stuff just didn't really matter to those guys, they played their asses off and I will always love them for that. Pretty punk as fuck.
I heard later that they got stuck at the bottom of the Grapevine on their way home because of heave snow. Thanks guys.
