DESCRIPTION: A short animated film for my song `Hollow Tree`.
The character is Mathew Hopkins, so called `Witchfinder General` who patroled the east Anglia during the English civil war extracting confessions from unfortunates accused of witchcraft. He often used torture. He died in old age, unlike in the film, from old age after being pressurised out of his role by local magistrates.
