GUTTAMOVES

GUTTAMOVES.COM is a new and innovative montreal based enterprise that first exploded on the hip hop scene in late 2006. The long-term goal of the Guttamoves.com team is to market and promote not only local artists but also our neighbours in the United States - already picking up raw talent from Washington DC, and Baltimore MD.



Guttamoves was founded by a young, ambitious native of Washington, DC who goes by the name of Bspitzee - a Montreal resident for almost 15 years. It was in collaboration with a young and promising graphic designer, Laury (ElsunDesign), and beatmaker, Marveluz (Crush'N'Dough Productions) that Bspitzee decided to take the first steps towards building the foundation of Guttamoves.



The website is aimed at providing maximum exposure to local and out of town artists by offering them a means of communication capable of reaching people all over the world - thanks to the internet.



We founded Guttamoves.com on the basis of protesting the corrupt and heartless practices of the music industry. From executives who push no-talent rappers off as being "real hip hop", to underground artists who emulate their favorite emcee's style instead of formulating their own. The Guttamove-ment was created to lash out at these and other offenders of our culture.
