Guts Pie Earshot is a band from Cologne, Germany. The band was created in 1991 as a "Punk band with Cello" named Flowerhouse in Cologne. From the start their audience was mainly formed by politically oriented people from the squatting and traveler scene. Their connection to bands such as The Ex, Chumbawamba and Dog Faced Hermans influenced the band in their start time. The concerts were and are often still held at small podium and squats, keeping a D.I.Y. mentality.

In 1993 the band was renamed to Guts Pie Earshot. It consisted at that time of Patrick Cybinski (Cello in various orchestras), Jean Jacobi (Drums with Tecbilek, Ministry of good Vibrations, Lucy killed the Dragon), Anneke Punkt (Formerly member of the band Loonies), Alex Franke (from Phew) and Gunther Steudel (in the meantime also composer of contemporary film music) Since 2004 the band is completely minimalistic with Patrick Cybinski on the cello and Jean Jacobi on the drums.
