I dont think any of us understands that Ungdomshuset Jagtvej 69 is history. In 24 years it was there as an oasis in the grey concrete dessert. Now only dust is left. We played there first time january 16th 1999, and have played there a lot the following years. The feelings is not to describe. It is unbearable. Our only hope is that now we can create something new, something as good or even better. 700 people have so far been arrested in the demonstration, riots etc. Some for destroying a container or throwing stones at the armored cops (no cops have had any personal damage), some for having a phone with activist SMS, some just for living where they did (Bumzen etc.), some for trying to help people with their rights (ABC) but most for "being on the wrong place at the wrong time". We send our love and support to all the people in prison right now. And one thing thats makes us happy: There is 700 arrested, and still the demonstrations and happenings counts thousands of people. All these people will still be there when people are released from prison, and we hope that we all can stand together and make a new and even stronger alternativ to the cultural "offers" that the commune and state tries to "give" us, and we hope that in 10 years EVERY FUCKING COMMUNE AND PART OF THE CITY HAVE A YOUTH CENTER!!!
