Reinvigorating the classic progressive and trance sound with a distinctive modern twist, Graeme Shepherd aka Grum continues to turn heads on the global dance scene.

With 2015’s ‘Trine EP’ and ‘Something About You’ being championed by the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard on Radio 1 in addition to a diverse array of international DJs including Above & Beyond, Steve Angello and Armin Van Buuren, Grum’s name has continued to grow on the global scene. While the opening months of 2016 see hit the road as part of Anjunabeats biggest North American tour, his first single release of the year is a flashback to his electric set during Above & Beyond Group Therapy 150 celebrations in Sydney, ‘Under Your Skin’.

His first vocal outing on the label, ‘Under Your Skin’ is a hypnotic affair; shades of Oakenfold inspired nostalgia floating throughout the mix. Adding a refined, retro top line is Rob Harvey, aka Rothchild, whose writing pedigree includes collaborations with X-Press 2, The Streets, Rudimental and Clean Bandit (including 2014’s ‘Real Love’).

Pulling you deeper down the rabbit hole with Rothchild’s yearning vocal, ‘Under Your Skin’ builds to a rolling anthemic release. A standout track from Above & Beyond’s global iTunes #1 dance compilation ‘Anjunabeats Volume 12’, this is a bright start to the year for one of dance music’s most inventive artists.Reinvigorating the classic progressive and trance sound with a distinctive modern twist, Graeme Shepherd aka Grum continues to turn heads on the global dance scene.
