Since 1998, members of GROUP THERAPY have been holding it down in the Bay Area's underground, independent Hip Hop movement. From ciphers, to battles, from corners, to stages, the crew bring originality, innovation, content and consciousness, to the ears of the open-minded individual.
As one of the original crews of the FreePotRoc collective, GT has been involved with many grassroots events, uniting the Hip Hop community. Making their own beats, recording their own albums, and throwing their own shows, GT live by the Do It Yourself, Control Your Destiny work ethic. In 2008, the crew added Bay Area tablist; DJ Rod Roc to the roster. With a deep rooted foundation, understanding and respect for the culture, LMNtal, Random, Audio (a.k.a. Inkfat), and Rod Roc rally behind the ideas of true freedom, equality, & positivity through art and music.
