Watch MakeMusic employees compete in three music engraving challenges using the new Finale.

Challenge 1: Engrave a system of Chopin (Nocturne #20 in C# minor, Op. posth) as fast as possible! Competitors tackle tricky grace notes, build custom expressions, and use Finale's Steinway Model D for playback.

Challenge 2: Improve an ugly jazz lead sheet as much as possible in 20 minutes. See how much better a score can look with proper system formatting and some font adjustments.

Challenge 3: Adjust page layout and large-scale issues in a string quartet score -- judged by product manager Mark Adler! You'll see how to adjust custom thicknesses for ties and slurs as well as check page margins.
