DESCRIPTION:
We're coming up on five years since my nephew, Jay Alexander, tragically passed away from a rare form of liver cancer. Jay hadn't been feeling well, went to the doctor, was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma in October 2011 and died 32 days later on November 4, 2011.

A while back, I wrote a song in his honor and Jay's parents - my brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Sheila Alexander - put together this video that celebrates Jay and his all too short life. This video really shows Jay's zest for life and the endless possibilities that were ahead of him.

The Alexander Family has become very active in the fight against this horrible disease. They are doing wonderful work and making great strides in raising awareness of the disease, developing new treatment options and working towards a cure - but they can't do it without your help and support.
