DESCRIPTION:
Earlier this month, Alex Wiley released "Own Man", an honest and determined record that simultaneously served to introduce his sophomore mixtape, Village Party. This documentary shows how "Own Man" came to be completed with an equally passionate verse from Mick Jenkins over Odd Couple's lush production. Mick's verse came after a few months in which "Own Man" sat unfinished. Alex Wiley knew that "Own Man" was a special record that had to be handled with care. Mick was able to catch the right vibe and with "Own Man's completion, the Village Party had begun.
