Early in the year 2000 Gibby discovered his talent after a simple joke made by a homeboy. He soon made his debut with his first song known as "Giraffe" which was actually based upon a joke song made by him and a friend in elementary school, but somehow managed to be brought to the junior high school. High school came around with even the highest class seniors appreciating his talent, becoming a local hit in North Vacaville, and took the next step to advancement and joined Andrew Wickens and his crew. So he released his first CD "He’s Long He’s Tall He’s Giraffe.” The next CD came the following year, known as "Class Clown." His style evolved from rapping about basic subjects in " He’s Long He’s Tall He’s Giraffe" to taking the more emotional/metaphorical style in "Class Clown." and taking an anger/gangsta type style in "Revelation," released in 2005. He created the new label "Double V Style" to get together all the rappers coming up in the Vacaville area, and promote collaboration among rappers and singers of all sorts from all areas of the world. Currently Gibby is stepping his game up and producing other peeps in order to create hot joints to put Vacaville on tha Bay area map. (Edit-He’s also a full-time college student, but he still finds time to spit fire in the recording studio with his current affiliatez, homeboys, and other local rappers he likes to collab with Double V Style is always looking for new undiscovered local(916/530/707) talent so get at Gibby G. for Collabs!).
